A Warm Welcome

Dear Delegates,

It is with great pride and excitement that we welcome you to CURIA — ESCH Model United Nations.

This conference is more than a platform for debate; it is a space where ideas meet, perspectives turn into solutions, and young leaders shape a more informed and united world.

At CURIA, we believe in the power of dialogue, the strength of diverse perspectives, and the courage to challenge the status quo. As you step into these committees, we encourage you to listen, learn, and lead—not just for your nations, but for a better future for all.

We look forward to the conversations, collaborations, and breakthroughs that will emerge from this conference.

Welcome to CURIA.

Warm regards,
The Secretariat

Secretary-General’s Address

History remembers those who dare to speak, challenge, and lead.

Welcome to "CURIA" - ESCH Model United Nations, where diverse perspectives converge, diplomacy takes centre stage, and the leaders of tomorrow find their voice. As we prepare for our premiere edition, I invite you to step beyond the sidelines and into the heart of global affairs.

This is your opportunity to challenge ideas that no longer work, negotiate solutions that actually matter, defend your convictions when it’s hard to, and make your voice count where it matters most. Don't just witness history being debated, be part of the conversation that shapes it.

Register for CURIA MUN and claim your place at the table. Join us on 10th and 11th November at EuroSchool, Chimney Hills, for two days of diplomacy, intellectual exchange, and unforgettable debate.

The forum awaits. The floor is yours. Make your voice matter.

Director General’s Address

“Statecraft is not defined by the power to command, but by the wisdom to shape what comes next.”

As Director General, I envision CURIA MUN as more than a conference; I envision it as a test of intellect, persuasion, and character. On the 10th and 11th of November, at EuroSchool Chimney Hills, we open the doors to our first edition with one purpose: to bring together minds willing to challenge perspectives and engage with the paradoxes of global politics.

I invite every delegate to step beyond prepared speeches and familiar arguments, to think strategically, negotiate purposefully, and recognise the responsibility that accompanies every decision. For at CURIA, statecraft is not simply studied—it is put to the test.

CURIA MUN — Where minds shape power, and statecraft shapes history.
